I wrote this awhile back on a piece of paper. it was slowly becoming destroyed.

open the book
to another page
make them come alive
then memory no longer fades

they live again
inside of your head
they escape in your thoughts
the tears that you shed

but once the book is closed
a little part of them dies
as the book collects dust
on the shelf where it lies

so why not recreate
all the memories that they are
we are after all
just reminiscent of someone else

so im writing my final paper for VDEO 350. its an interesting one, discussing the use of storytelling in video from the 70s to the 90s, focusing on sexuality as a common theme.

but i cant sit and write too much at a time. i have to really reflect a lot in order to write something good. its not going too badly, i have 1500 words so far, only 500 more to go basically, which would include my conclusion, and a little intro to video starting in the 60s. so right there, thats 400 words.

i hope i do well.

ive been getting some decent grades; A-, B, B+ (which should have been a A-, but the teacher is a jerk)... i need to write him another email. this is the same guy that told me he would have given me a A on my paper for the midterm if i would have taken one word out of the title or wrote ONE sentence explaining it was a reference word, so instead gave me a B. when i talked to him about this, he said he would give me a B+ if i did better on my final paper instead. WHAT THE FUCK? if you think i could deserve an A, why do you give me a B, and i can talk you into giving me a B+? its bullshit. I deserved at least an A- on that paper. It was the best paper I ever wrote in uni. it pisses me off. tell me, does this make sense to you? i sent him this:

listening to the sounds of my feet

i slept so much last night. from around 6 to 6. and now i want to sleep a little more. im not feeling too good. hopefully it will all subside before 2 oclock. im gonna try to sleep of the yuckiness. if that doesnt help, ill paint. itll give me something to do, plus, if for any reason i may need a washroom, itll only be 10 running paces away. so hurray!

i dont know what the point of this update is actually. i dont know. i feel like i have a lot to say but i i dont know how to say it all. i guess the final in almost everything is "i'm worried". i think i think about concequences way too often, and i should sometimes submit to my impulsive side. but not all the time... heh, if people only KNEW...

anyways. yes. lovely pics, kim. had an awesome time with you girls yesterday, and a lovely night with you all. just was thinking that i didnt really get to talk much with some people i wanted to talk to... which is a little saddening, but ill talk to them more the next time i see them i guess. but i dont know when that will be considering that we are all starting school/already started school and are busy again.

looking forward to my free tuesdays and thursdays.

i get the feeling omer deserres wont call and ask me for an interview. oh well.

i. love. the. rain.

i really do. i was standing in it today, letting it fall on my face as i looked up at the sky. and it felt marvelous.

i was just driving in it earlier (my dad asked me to drop him off of st-jean (and who do i know that lives there...)) anyways, it was slightly scary to drive in this hard rain, but so cathartic, so i got over the fear very quickly.

2 days until my birthday. lol, god, what a mess.

ive decided that i will work on humanities mid-term now, then i.a., then the second humanities thing if there is time, and then english (i have a quiz tomorrow). *re-looks it over* yup, thats about right.

why do i always get those junk emails with christian dating services? i mean, what the hell? how did they get my email? and why are they the only ones that try to get me to join their dating site? am i only accepted by the christians now? am i not good enough for the other religions? here i was thinking atheistic standards weren't that high...

i want them to stop, and i block the addresses, and they keep coming. its weird. and i want them to vanish from my inbox.

what am i listening to right now? sounds outside my window of passing cars driving into numerous puddles on the street. its one of the most soothing sounds in the world to me. i guess thats because ive grown up with it all my life, so im used to it. i love the rain, it brings so many different emotions (at least to me, because im a *wee* bit scytzo. it can make you happy, sad, depressed, uplifted... the thought of the rain washing away everything, making things seem newer, cleaner, starting afresh... thats what i like. plus, i have an excuse to start dancing and singing choereography from a gene kelly movie. and who doesnt enjoy that? ...other than the officer?

ive been thinking today, about jobs, the summer, possible different living conditions, and some other stuff... im trying to find a good place to even just apply for a decent job. i think it might be too early for summer jobs. they dont seem to be posted anywhere. ive looked in the paper today, and i saw nothing as usual. the only thing i saw was a maromac consellor thing, but i didnt want to be a consellor again, i wanted to get a different job. its so much to think of. and i wonder why i never do my homework. well, i do my homework, but always leave it to the last minute. which reminds me, i need to call my teacher and tell him im missing class on monday.

im sorta nervous about my driving test now. i dont think im ready. i think im going to fail.

i wish someone could help me practice. but thats asking too much.

i wanted to again say thank you mandy for being such a wonderful hostess, and putting up with me for around numerous hours. i ♥ you.
